Donald And the 'Duck' Over the Bavarian Alps depicts a P-51D flown by Captain Donald Emerson from the 336th Fighter Squadron operating from the Royal Air Force base at Debden in the county of Essex, England. Captain Emerson DFC was killed in action on December 25, 1944. Donald Emerson was a proud son of the town of Karlstad, MN. 

David Hammond is an internationally acclaimed aviation artist, known for his stunning depictions of aviation history.
